So I expect a crappy teaser tomorrow, then gameplay at E3, then more gameplay at E3 2016 then a late Q3 or early Q4 2016 release. If I'm remembering correctly that does seem like how Bethesda rolls, wasn't Skyrim announced with a ~5minute gameplay demo onstage(but then still took ~18 months to release)? I would expect Bethesda to be quiet on a games release until they're ready to show gameplay and not do announce videos and then show nothing for 6-12 months like sometimes happens at E3. If it's just Howard's statement then I would interpret that as more along the lines of Valve regarding H元, something like 'We don't want to talk about it until we have something to show you'. Regardless of our difference of opinion regarding the importance of marketing for AAA games, I'm curious what makes you think that a quick release is at all likely? There is no history of a large AAA game like this releasing 6 months after announcement (from Bethesda or anyone else). Click to expand.Sure it doesn't need it to sell well, but they'd be shooting themselves in the foot to not do it.
